ntny roundup
We’ve loved our first few months building NTNY - connecting with you, listening to feedback, and starting to shape a community that genuinely supports life in NYC. Here’s a little round-up of what’s been happening….and what’s coming next.
A Big Thank You
The first few months of NTNY have been so much fun. We’ve loved speaking to potential partners and connecting with the expat community across New York. The conversations, ideas, and generosity of this community have honestly exceeded expectations.
We’ve been listening carefully to your feedback (and we’d love even more of it), and have made a few updates to improve your experience in the app.

IRL Connections: What’s Coming Up
One of our core goals is to create meaningful in-person opportunities for connection. To that end, we’re launching a couple of regular events and programming partners - be sure to RSVP to save you a spot.
Carve Out Coffee: A small, intimate meet-up for entrepreneurs, freelancers and solo workers. A chance to discuss projects, share challenges, exchange ideas and support each other in a relaxed setting.
Virtual Conversations: We’ll also be hosting regular virtual chats around key topics - from navigating school applications to settling into different neighbourhoods and understanding NYC systems. Short, useful, and informal.
St. George’s Society of New York: This month enjoy upcoming Pancake Day celebrations (Feb 17th) and a Young Professional Sunday Roast (Feb 22nd) by signing up in the app.
British Women’s Network Monthly Social: Particularly relevant this month as we celebrate International Women’s Day, enjoy a relaxed eventing to connect and catch up. (Feb 26th)
Mother Nature Reset Live: RSVP and enjoy an hour away from it all to reflect and slow down, together. (Mar 9th)
Keep an eye on the events carousel for more ways to connect.

The King’s Trust - 50 Years of Impact
This year marks the 50th anniversary of The King’s Trust, the global charity founded by His Majesty King Charles III to help young people build the skills, confidence and practical support to succeed. For NTNY, this represents more than a milestone moment. It is the activation of a powerful transatlantic network that backs early ideas, funds new ventures, and connects incredible young people into a trusted community across the UK and the US.
-
To celebrate 50 years of impact, the Trust has launched the 50-for-50 Marathon Campaign bringing together runners, supporters and communities across the U.S.
You can get involved by:

As always, we’d genuinely love your feedback on the app, events, content you’d like covered - and any partners or brands you’d love to see involved.
